About the role
The Care Delivery Scheduling Lead will have oversight and promote best practice scheduling methods across local teams, to enhance the delivery of optimal care scheduling outcomes which deliver consistent care to our clients and team of HammondCare At Home.
This role is offered on a Permanent Full-time basis and can be located at either the Central Coast or Hunter regions.
Key Focus Areas
- Provide oversight, leadership and support to the locally based, centrally working, Care Scheduling teams, promoting best practice scheduling methods which drive positive client outcomes, maximise Specialised Carer rosters and empower local teams according to the HammondCare Mission in Action and Model of Care.
- Develop strong, cohesive and respectful relationships with local care delivery scheduling teams, working together towards optimal support of clients and Specialised Carers as it relates to scheduling.
- Under the guidance of the Head of Care Delivery, drive business improvements by recommending and implementing reviews to scheduling processes, ensuring consistent national practice within local teams.
- Ensure a positive financial performance including responsibility for key measures and KPIs associated with Scheduling.
About you
- Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
- Tertiary qualification in management or related degree or Cert IV in Aged Care, Cert IV in Management, Leadership and Management
- Considerable experience operating at an operational and managerial level.
- Proven ability to work in an operational environment that requires a high-level attention to detail.
- Experienced in operating effectively in a multi-site environment.
- Effective key stakeholder management
- Effective communication skills
- A current driver’s license and safe driving record. Willingness to travel between HammondCare’s sites, from time to time.
- Strong administrative and computer skills including database management and Microsoft Office applications (particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm and passion for upskilling the Care Scheduling Teams.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to identify risk and make recommendations for change.
- Demonstrated empathy towards older people.
Desirable
- Aged or health care experience.
- Knowledge of aged care financial drivers – home care packages, Aged Care Quality Standards and The HammondCare Aged Care Enterprise Agreement 2023.
