About the role:
Our Registered Nurse must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, displaying a level of competence and experience that comes with at least 2 years’ experience.
As the RN, you will be a core member of the residential team and work with both the management of the home and the carers to provide tailored and individualised responsive care for the residents.
- Advising and supporting the care delivery by the care staff
- Educating and mentoring in clinical areas and processes
- Consultative in case management and clinical decision making.
- Clinical oversight and professional competence as a Registered Nurse
- Implement and support a resident comfort focus.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Demonstrate a minimum 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse, working alone and in a team.
- Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts across 7 days.
- Have knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needs.
- Use of medical record systems is a must.
- Experience in a residential setting is highly desirable.
